Holiday season

The holiday season is coming and I made this little fellow, a cute little gnome.
He is made from felt and filled with soft fiber fill. The gnome is completely hand sewed and made from my own pattern.
From his feet to the top of his hat he measures approximately 5 1/2" (14cm).

But his isn't just for the holiday season, the gnome goes well with any home decor.
It is  believed that gnomes protect the house and their family, and to bring good luck.

New weekend project

It is weekend and the weather is sunny and rainy, like a april day. Perfect to start a new project, a hand bag. I took pencil, paper and a ruler and created the pattern. After than I chose the fabric and began sewing.

The result, an one handle bag.

Kasimir the cat II.

After the successful adoption on "Kasimir the cat I." did I made a new cat door stopper. It is "Kasimir the cat II.".
He is a little smaller and lighter, also I decided to make him a white nose instead the black one.
He has safety eyes and is filled with pellets to stand and soft fiber fill.
Both cats are made from my own pattern and one of a kind.

Kasimir the cat, the birth

My last post was about my idea to made me my own doorstopper.
I decided to make a cat.

To sew the cat wasn't a problem, but difficult for me was to turn the fabric, especially the tail, puh, not easy.
But after the turning comes the stuffing and then the tail again, he proved to be quite difficult. I used my pencil.

On the next three picture you can see the result.

I think he is really cute.
I call him, "Kasimir the cat"

He measure app 11" (28cm) tall and his weight is app 0,48lb (218g)

I want try a new project

I like door stopper, so why I don't made my own.
I took a pencil and a piece of paper and began to draw.
You can see it on the paper sheet, I think it isn't to bad, I cut out.

Ok, pattern is done, now I had to choose the fabric. I choose the red/ white check fabric. This fabric fits well in my kitchen, my placemate are the same fabric.

Ok, I forgot, this doorstopper cat comes in my kitchen.

So, I got it all together and I can start to sew.

A newborn Teddy with name "Hazel"

I would like introduce to you my newest cutie pie "Hazel".
Isn't she lovely, is she?
Hazel is app 7,8" (20cm) tall and app 6,2" (16cm) sitting.
Her weight, I know we can't talk about a lady's weight, but I think she is ok with it, 0,12lb (55g)
She is made from super fluffy plush, free of harmful substances and suitable for toys.
She has safety eyes and is filled with soft antiallergic fiber fill.
Hazel is handmade, made fro my own pattern.
Hazel is such a sweet girl, dreaming of a nice tea party, maybe in her new home.

She is not a toy, but she is a collectible item!!!

After the first comes the second

Ok, I think the first teddy bear is cut but I thing the second is cuter.

I refine the pattern. This bear is a bit greater than the first.

He is soft and perfect for small kid's hands.

Filled is this bear with soft fiber fill, his eyes are made from felt.
