Lucy is stuffed with soft antiallergic fiber fill, she has safety eyes and her nose is embroidered with pearl thread.

Rainy Sunday

It was a rainy Sunday, nothing you can do outside by heavy rain and thunderstorm.
So, I choose a old sweater to make a new teddy bear.

It tooks few busy hours, from drawing pattern on fabric and cutting out the teddy pieces.
4hours later, the head is done.
I think he's looking cute.

DIY Whipped Body Cream

Hi, today I made my own Whipped Body Cream.
This cream is made with organic ingredients, no preservatives.
It is simple to make and your skin will love it and it smells like chocolate.


What you need

1/4 cup organic, unrefined shea butter
1/4 cup organic cocoa butter
1/4 cup organic coconut oil
1/4 cup almond oil, I used argan oil (organic)
10-20 drops essential oil, what you like

Take a bowl and fill it with boiled water, put another bowl with the shea butter and coconut butter carefully in the hot water bowl and let it melt. It would take a while.

Is everthing resolvedolved add the coconut oil and the almond or argan oil . 
Stir all gently together and let it cool in the fridge. 
This would be take 15-30 min. or longer.

Once the mixture is partially set up add the essential oils of your choice and whip with the hand mixer until the body butter is fluffy and stiff peaks have formed , that would take around 2 minutes.

Spoon the body butter in a cute jar and it is ready to use or you have a perfect homemade gift.

It is super easy to make and suitable for beginners.

So much to do....

Big help in the kitchen

Today I got big help in the kitchen.

 Irmi and Diego helped me to bake Christmas cookies.

At the end, we got over 300 cookies.

The Three Gnomes

It's cold! Es ist kalt geworden

Now it is getting cold, ok, it is November.

So, I decided to knit leg warmers.

See...I like it and the main thing is, they keep my legs warm.

Another gnome

Here comes another gnome.

His body is made from greenish felt and got embroidered little snowflakes.

I found in the craft shop fairy wool and created  his beard.

Also this gnome is completely hand sewed.

New weekend project

It is weekend and the weather is sunny and rainy, like a april day. Perfect to start a new project, a hand bag. I took pencil, paper and a ruler and created the pattern. After than I chose the fabric and began sewing.

Kasimir the cat II.

After the successful adoption on "Kasimir the cat I." did I made a new cat door stopper. It is "Kasimir the cat II.".
He is a little smaller and lighter, also I decided to make him a white nose instead the black one.
He has safety eyes and is filled with pellets to stand and soft fiber fill.
Both cats are made from my own pattern and one of a kind.

Kasimir the cat, the birth

My last post was about my idea to made me my own doorstopper.
I decided to make a cat.

To sew the cat wasn't a problem, but difficult for me was to turn the fabric, especially the tail, puh, not easy.
But after the turning comes the stuffing and then the tail again, he proved to be quite difficult. I used my pencil.

On the next three picture you can see the result.

I think he is really cute.
I call him, "Kasimir the cat"
